Tales of Xillia 2 Video: Elise Returns
And a bit about the upcoming TGS demo.
09.18.12 - 1:25 PM

Tales of Xillia 2 gets a lot of cameos from the first game, including Elise Lutus, who went to school after the first game... but is playing hookey to help you in battle with her magics (or melee attacks), it seems. Her little companion Tipo is back, too.

Jude and Milla also resurface - but you can only choose one of them to join your party. This is how the Tokyo Game Show demo will start off, though the decision doesn't change the story, just the Link Artes that you can try out. The demo begins with an event involving a key person from the first Tales of Xillia, and afterwards you get to break into a food factory. Even though there are tricks and gimmicks in the dungeon, they were cut out of the demo so players would get a chance to fight a boss within the 10-minute time limit. The demo will also let you equip 'attachments' like sunglasses and backpacks to Ludgar, and to try out his transformation ability.

Tales of Xillia 2 goes on sale in Japan in November, with its first-print run including a costume code for Milla (an outfit based on Tales of Graces f's Asbel) and one for Jude (Tales of Vesperia's Yuri). The first Tales of Xillia is due out in North America and Europe sometime next year.
