While Namco Bandai's North American division recently showed us first English screens of
Tales of Xillia, the Japanese branch is producing video after of the sequel, out in Japan in November.
Starting with a proper trailer, here's the one being shown at Tokyo Game Show courtesy of Famitsu, full of characters and battle footage.
Some intense battling which looks like Ludger going into his special form.
And one of Rowen. Man, those look like hideous porcupines.
Besides transforming, it sounds like Ludger has another ability - one that allows him to mirror other characters' support abilities. He also has a so-called 'intimacy parameter' with each character, which is affected by his actions in character episodes and in longer chats. This parameter may determine what new Artes and other skills you learn, and whether you'll get certain special chats after a battle.
Tales of Xillia 2 for PS3 goes on sale in Japan on November 1st.
