RPGFan Soundtracks: Final Fantasy VIII Chips
Final Fantasy Chips. Once you pop, you just can't stop.
10.09.12 - 5:56 PM

There are plenty of Final Fantasy VII fans out there, so they were probably quite pleased when Kyle's review of its chiptune remix album surfaced first yesterday. Those with an elementary understanding of roman numerals perhaps surmised that today would see our thoughts on the next in the series, Final Fantasy VIII Chips, and they would be right.

This particular iteration of the venerable series had a pretty distinct musical style that I was certainly a fan of, though the game itself was definitely polarizing (just ask Rob his thoughts on the game, for example). That in mind, I was quite interested to hear what Bob Richardson had to say about this particular chunk of chipmixes. If you find yourself also wondering, then check out Bob's review below!

(And yes, the best Final Fantasy ever released is up next for chippy coverage. I wonder who will provide THAT particular review?)
