Square Enix Announces Dragon Quest VII Remake For Nintendo 3DS
The oft-forgotten entry in the series finally gets a chance to shine.
10.30.12 - 3:07 PM

A scan from the latest issue of Japan's Jump magazine has revealed that a remake of Dragon Quest VII is in production for the Nintendo 3DS. This version features new 3D graphics and a "lithograph trading" function via StreetPass. The original game is known for building upon the popular class system from Dragon Quest VI and for its colossal length of over 80 hours. The remake is slated to release in Japan next February.

As it was just revealed, there are no details about a North American release at this time.
