RPGFan Music: The Scythian Steppes
That's the Japan-centric Sword and Sworcery remix album!
11.09.12 - 1:36 AM

Here at RPGFan, you could be forgiven for not having heard the soundtrack to Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP. After all, we haven't reviewed it the game itself (yet!), nor have we covered the original soundtrack (yet!). However, that shouldn't sway you from checking out my review of The Scythian Steppes: Seven #Sworcery Songs Localized for Japan. This album is something special-- in order to celebrate the Japanese localization of the game, S&S composer Jim Guthrie got together with several noted Japanese composers (Mitsuto Suzuki, Akira Yamaoka, and Michiru Yamane, among others!) and remixed the music to fantastic effect. You can check out my full thoughts on this album, as well as samples (though you could just as easily check out the album in its entirety on Guthrie's Bandcamp page) below!
