In Japan in February 2013, PlayStation Vita owners will be able to download a copy of Phantasy Star Online 2 at no charge! It's just like the PC version, and even shares the same server, so you can play your PC characters on the go.

Even though the game will be free, SEGA will be selling a physical copy in stores for 5,229 yen ($64 USD) that includes some special extras: eight unique costumes (two for each race); the Clad Cannon, Clad 6, and Wing Spada (sword) weapons from Phantasy Star Portable 2; A Mag evolution drive; Fun 1000 ticket; premium set for 30 days; decorative Little Wing stickers; and a soundtrack. It'll be available on February 28th in Japan.
