The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages/Seasons Announced for 3DS VC
In Japan, at least. Blast you, region locking!
02.21.13 - 2:21 PM

During yet another Nintendo Direct presentation, it was revealed that The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages and The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons will be coming to the 3DS Virtual Console in Japan. Each game will run ¥600 ($6.45 USD), or they can be purchased together for ¥1000 ($10.75 USD). The two games, developed by Capcom, were originally released on Game Boy Color, and used a similar engine to Link's Awakening. In a unique twist, the full story can only be experienced when both games are completed and connected via a password system.

No release was announced for North America, but this editor has a hard time believing that Nintendo would pass up the opportunity reach a new audience. We'll report again as soon as more information is available.
