Shin Megami Tensei IV Videos
Trailer, exploration and characters.
02.22.13 - 9:14 PM

At yesterday's Nintendo Direct presentation was a new trailer for Shin Megami Tensei IV, the next main installment in Atlus' popular and rather dark JRPG series. Presented by Nintendo's president Satoru Iwata, you can find the five-minute clip - which mentions over 400 kinds of demons - below.

Today Atlus released a few new videos for the game, showing some field exploration followed by clips for each of the samurai characters. Below is a look at the variety of areas in the 3DS title.

In order are: Walter, Jonathan, Isabeau and Navarre.

Alongside the recent release date announcement came news of an SMTIV-themed Nintendo 3DS XL. Pictured below, the system will come with the game installed. Naturally it will release the same day as the title, though no price was given. Retail copies' first-print editions of SMTIV will come with a 'sound and art collection.'

Shin Megami Tensei IV goes on sale in Japan on May 23rd. Atlus USA has yet to announce a localization.
