Bound By Flame Announced
Spiders Studio has a dark fantasy action RPG coming later this year.
02.28.13 - 2:13 PM

This morning, Focus Home Interactive announced an action RPG title set for release later this year. Titled Bound By Flame and developed by Spiders Studio, this dark fantasy themed game puts players in a position where they can either embrace the demon (and associated evils) possessing their character, or reject it and 'develop heroic talents' instead, relying on their own skills in combat rather than the demon's, er, assistance. The demon's influence and powers over you will thus change depending on how your character progresses.

Bound by Flame promises player choice impacting the main story, lots of sidequests, character customization including gender, cosmetic, skill-wise, via a crafting system for equipment, and so on. And you change, so will the appearance of your demon. The main character will also meet others and form friendships (and more) along their journey - and not to mention a pretty terrifying variety of foes.

The first screenshot (and only so far) below is of one such enemy, the swamp beast. Bound By Flame is scheduled to release on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 before the end of this year.
