Neverwinter's Exclusive Content at PAX East + Spiders!
See what's in store for PAX East attendees, and how it'll be worth your while to stop by and play.

With PAX East coming later this month, Perfect World intends to make sure its Dungeons & Dragons MMORPG, Neverwinter doesn't go unnoticed. The upcoming convention will feature 18 playable demo stations, featuring content yet-unavailable to the public beta weekends, such as the Great Weapon Fighter class. The demo content ends by rewarding players with a variety of prizes, both in the game world and this less-thrilling physical one. Playing the demo can net you limited edition bags, t-shirts, gaming hardware, and codes that can be redeemed for permanent in-game items.

If playing exclusive early content in a game AND being rewarded for it isn't enough for you... then you're being greedy. Luckily, Perfect World anticipated your gluttony and will have New York Times best-selling author, R.A. Salvatore in attendance, author of the Forgotten Realms series The Legend of Drizzt. He will be signing books – including his latest novel, The Last Threshold, Neverwinter Saga, Book IV – from 3-4 pm on March 22nd & 23rd.

Finally, it wouldn't be a Neverwinter update without new screens and video, and this time it's all about mounts, from the traditional horses to the gnarly spider mount you can get by buying into the Neverwinter Founder's Pack. Check out both the new screens, and the video:

This upcoming weekend kicks off Neverwinter's second beta weekend (sign up at the official site), while the third such event runs from March 22-24. If you plan on attending PAX East, look for Neverwinter in Booth 624.
