With just a few days left in its
Kickstarter campaign, indie studio Red Thread Games released a new trailer for
Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey. The follow-up to
Dreamfall and
The Longest Journey started off with an $850,000 funding goal, one that was not only quickly met, but has now reached $1.2 million (and several stretch goals) as of this writing. Further stretch goals include German and French versions ($1.25 million); a director's cut ($1.5 million); and
The Longest Journey Home, a new 2D point-and-click adventure and concluding chapter for the series ($2 million).
Dreamfall Chapters: The Longest Journey (PC, Mac, Linux) is slated for a fall 2014 release; Red Thread will continue to accept donations through PayPal, and the title is up for voting at Steam Greenlight.
