New Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl Announced
Remake of the first EO hits Japanese 3DSes in June.

With Etrian Odyssey IV released in North America as of a month ago, a new title in the series is in the works - or a new old title, anyway. New Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl is actually a 3DS remake of the first game in the series, with more focus on story and characters. Taking place in Etria, the main character, hailing from the Highlands and equipped with a spear, has been tasked with looking into earthquakes that have been happening around Etria.

Along the way he meets Frederica Irving, who seems nice enough but also wary.. probably due to having amnesia. Simon York, a medic, also knows a lot about ancient civilizations and monsters. The alchemist Arthur Charles is a part of Simon's team, but can be a bit of a loudmouth. Although Lakuna Sheldon (paladin) is of noble blood, she comes across as quite humble.

Your party of characters is fixed in Millennium Girl, but you can change their classes if you so choose, this way they can learn different and new skills. Class change doesn't affect their appearance or stats, however.

New Etrian Odyssey: Millennium Girl has a Japanese release date of June 27th.
