RPGFan Music: Chrono Trigger: The Last Day of the World Orchestra
The Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra synthetically orchestrates SNES synth!
05.02.13 - 6:42 PM

Thanks to Joypad Records, a great number of independent musicians are finding an outlet to share their arrangements of classic VGM that we all know and love, such as with TPR's excellent A Melancholy Tribute to Final Fantasy IX and VII (review of the latter coming soon!).

Today's tune, however, comes from a different artiste: the Blake Robinson Synthetic Orchestra, responsible for both the best VGM advent calendar ever and the upcoming Super Metroid Symphony. BRSO takes on a classic in Yasunori Mitsuda's The Last Day of the World from Chrono Trigger. Graphics guru and gregarious good guy Mike Salbato brings us his thoughts on this new spin on an old, well-beloved classic. Check out his review below!
