Details on Shin Megami Tensei IV's Launch DLC
Armor, maps, demons, and... hair!?
06.08.13 - 4:14 AM

Boy, I sure hope that, if you're reading this, you're looking forward to the 3DS-based Shin Megami Tensei IV as much as most of our staff. With release only a little over a month away, Atlus has revealed a list of downloadable content to be available at the game's launch:

  • Three additional hairstyles will be available to download, and will be permanently free for anyone.
  • The Platinum Surcoat Set, seen below (unless I'm mistaken!) offers a small stat bonus early in the game. The armor set will sell for a mere $1, though it will be free for the first month following SMTIV's launch, so get it early!
  • Finally, a $2 map pack will be available that will help players gain extra EXP, and contains enemies and a collectible demon exclusive to this DLC pack. Like the armor set, this pack is most helpful at the early stages of the game.

SMTIV

Atlus also states that more DLC information will be released closer to Shin Megami Tensei IV's launch on July 16th.
