Blizzard Announces Diablo III Console Preorder Bonuses
More good news for Sony fans.
06.11.13 - 12:42 PM

Blizzard had previously announced the Infernal Helm preorder bonus for console versions of Diablo III, but they added new details today about additional items that will be given to those who buy in advance.

On both Xbox 360 and PS3, in addition to the Infernal Helm, which grants an EXP bonus, players will receive three cosmetic items that were included in the Collector's Edition on PC. The Angelic Wings are white wings in the style of the Diablo universe that appear on your character when activated, and the Bottled Cloud Dye and Bottled Smoke Dye let you dye your armor white and black, respectively.

And there's good news for those planning to buy Diablo III on PS3, because they'll get five more items that Xbox 360 players won't.

  • "The Hero’s Journey" – A Legendary shoulder item that includes a “Journey” style scarf

  • "Drake's Amulet" – A Legendary amulet that bears a striking resemblance to the ring that Drake wears around his neck in Uncharted

  • "Leoric's Gauntlets" – These Legendary gloves summon a ghostly skeleton to fight for you

  • "Crimson Angelic Wings" – This cosmetic enhancement calls forth a set of red Angelic Wings

  • "Leah's Ring" – A Legendary ring, originally given to Leah by Deckard Cain, that's usable at level 60 and provides bonuses to Magic Find, Gold Find, movement speed, and defenses
  • Diablo III will be released on Xbox 360 and PS3 on September 3, 2013.
