Final Fantasy VII Now Available on Steam
Of course it features Cloud Saves.
07.04.13 - 12:50 PM

Last year, Square Enix released (well, re-released) Final Fantasy VII on PC. Featuring cloud saves, achievements, and a 'character booster' feature to get players through tough areas, people were happy to have a slightly-updated version of the PSone classic. As a title exclusively available via Square Enix's online store though, the achievements in particular were not part of a larger community system, like, oh, Steam.

Starting today, Final Fantasy VII is available on Steam for $11.99 USD. The Steam release features all of the same perks as the Square Enix store version, plus 36 Steam-powered achievements. Cloud saves can be transferred across 3 computers simultaneously, so when you have to leave your house, grab your laptop and continue playing. Why be social?
