Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn now has a companion app available, roughly on time, too! Libra Eorzea was scheduled to release about a week after the game's launch, but what's another week? This free iOS app, similar to Blizzard's World of Warcraft Armory app, allows you to view your character profile, gear, and attributes. You can also view those of your friends and other members of your Free Company. Viewing this character-related info requires you to log in to your FFXIV account.

What's available to peruse — regardless of logging in — is a helpful Game Database. This allows you to look up items, quests, NPCs, achievements, equipment, enemies and more. It's quite full-featured, and can be viewed offline as well. Square Enix is planning to expand the available options and information in the future.

When Libra Eorzea was originally announced, the plans called for the iOS app to arrive first, with the Android version about a month later. While the company hasn't specified a date for Android users, if they're still on track, hopefully that version will land around the end of the month or early October.

Libra Eorzea is available now for free via the iTunes Store.
