Video: A Brief Look At Bound By Flame
The combat system carries over from one Spiders game to another.
09.14.13 - 1:33 PM

In developing Bound by Flame, Spiders Studio took the combat system from its last title, Mars: War Logs, and made a few changes and improvements before implementing it into their newest title. In Bound By Flame, we'll see more attacks, skills and tactics, plus the use of magic, and better animations. You can get a bit of an idea for its battles in the teaser video below.

Players control a mercenary possessed by a fire demon, who they can choose to, over time, fight off to gain heroic skills and abilities, or give into so that they can realize its powers more fully. As well, the character can be further customized via the three skill trees offered. Your choices will also affect the game's chapters and the scenarios presented throughout the game.

Bound By Flame (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, PC) goes on sale early next year.
