New Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters Video and Details
Combine your emotions and senses to destroy evil spirits!
09.23.13 - 10:08 PM

Shown off at Tokyo Game Show this year, Tokyo Twilight Ghost Hunters is an upcoming visual novel/RPG set for Japanese release on PlayStation 3 and Vita in 2014. The game will be split into 13 episodes, each with a novel part and a battle part. The story follows a new transfer student to Kurenai Academy High School who spots a ghost during his initial tour of the facilities. He is forced to fight off an evil spirit and is saved by a classmate, Masamune Shiga, and another woman named Chizuru Fukurai. From there, he joins the Evening Spatium Company, who are dedicated to destroying evil spirits.

Check out some of the game and the great animated graphics in the new video below:

Perhaps most interestingly, instead of the usual dialogue choices found in visual novels, players will be able to change the flow of conversation by using one of five particular emotions (such as love), along with one of the usual five senses humans have. In essence, that means each time you make a choice, there are 25 different outcomes. Of course, there will be different endings based around your decisions, too.
