Bravely Default's Sequel Confirmed
I do hope it gets a better title than 'Bravely Second.'
12.04.13 - 6:35 PM

This week's issue of Jump confirmed that Bravely Default's sequel is officially in the works. Square Enix had filed for trademarks for Bravely Second and Bravely Third, and the former is also the name of a gameplay mechanic in For The Sequel, out this week in Japan. Unfortunately, we have little in the way of details, other than that one of the characters is named Magnolia.

Conveniently, Bravely Default: For the Sequel contains many other gameplay tweaks and new mechanics that Square implemented with plans of using them again in a sequel. The European release of Bravely Default (also this week) and North American (February 2014) will be based on For The Sequel.

Bravely Second for Nintendo 3DS does not yet have a release window.
