Telltale, Gearbox Announce Tales From The Borderlands
Yes, that Borderlands.
12.09.13 - 10:36 AM

Even though Telltale Games' Game of Thrones announcement was more or less outed a couple of weeks back, this one came as more of a surprise. At VGX, the developer behind The Walking Dead and Back to the Future games, and Gearbox Software announced Tales from the Borderlands. To no one's surprise, this will be a story (and decision)-heavy, episodic adventure series set in the world of Pandora that expands on both new and existing characters in Borderlands' universe.

The way Gearbox president Randy Pitchford describes it, both Borderlands 2 and The Walking Dead were successful at last year's VGAs, so they and Telltale met up later, "one thing led to another and, well, we're having a baby." That baby's announcement trailer is below.

Tales from the Borderlands will release next year for consoles, PC/Mac and mobile devices.
