All PS4 Users Will Have Final Fantasy XIV: ARR Beta Access
And you won't even need PlayStation Plus.

After announcing a couple of days ago that PS4 users won't need to "apply beforehand" to the upcoming beta of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn on the system, questions were raised as to what this would mean. As it turns out, no one will need to apply since all owners of a PlayStation 4 will have access to the beta from day 1, whether or not they already have an existing account for the game. Unlike the beta for PS3 and PC, all players will be able to jump in to Eorzea on the first day of the beta. Square Enix must be more confident this time after the technical difficulties they originally had on launch.

No PlayStation Plus membership is required, so, if you own a PS4, on February 22 you will be able to jump into the beta and try Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn for yourself.
