Log Into Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn For Free This Weekend
Eorzea misses you. Maybe it's sick of me.
01.07.14 - 9:59 PM

For the first time since Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn's late August launch (and outside of the 30-day free trial period, of course), Square Enix will let all players with an account log in for free this weekend, including those not currently subscribed. If you made an account back during 1.0 but haven't checked out A Realm Reborn yet, don't worry, you're eligible too. This way, any non-active players can see what they're missing out on, and of course, the latest content from last month's Patch 2.1. This free period runs from midnight Saturday morning PST until midnight Monday morning PST.

So what's next for Final Fantasy XIV? Well, eventually I'll level a second job for starters. Square Enix will always be adding more Primal battles - Leviathan will be surfacing in patch 2.2, and we'll keep you updated on other upcoming content. Until then, stay tuned for our patch 2.1 review journal entry.
