Square Enix Address Final Fantasy X-3 Rumors
And briefly comment on Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy XV and Dissidia.
04.09.14 - 3:26 AM

There have been some rumors hanging around the internet about the possibility of an announcement of Final Fantasy X-3 following on from the recent release of Final Fantasy X / X2 HD Remaster on PlayStation 3 and Vita. In a new Famitsu article, a number of Square Enix members address this and other questions!

According to the report, producer Yoshinori Kitase is not working on Final Fantasy X-3. The possibility of such an endeavour was not ruled out, but it's clear it won't be in the works any time soon, if ever.

Producer Shinji Hashimoto explained, in brief, where Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III are currently at. Development of the former is reportedly going smoothly, while new details about the gameplay of the latter should be emerging soon.

Finally, director Mitsunori Takahashi said that he "definitely" wanted to make a new Dissidia title.

There will likely be more details on all these over the next few weeks, so keep checking back!
