Persona 5 Coming to PlayStation 4, New Trailer
Don't panic! It will still be released for PS3, too.
09.01.14 - 8:20 AM

At their press conference earlier today, Sony Japan announced that Persona 5 will now be coming to PlayStation 4. Don't panic, it will still be released on PS3, too! Its release date has been pushed back though, and it won't be available in Japan until 2015 (previously winter 2014).

Atlus have previously confirmed they will bring the title to North America next year, though there's no word yet whether we'll see both the PS3 and PS4 releases.

I know, I know, I've kept you waiting long enough! You can view the new teaser trailer below.

It's still quite mysterious, but it does provide a good look at the game's bespectacled protagonist and city setting. Though it will come as little surprise, it seems Persona 5 will keep the modern Japan setting shared by its predecessors. If you saw the first teaser trailer relased back in November of 2013, you'll remember the theme of this game seems to be slavery or restricted freedom. How will this fit in with a modern setting? I guess we'll find out soon enough.
