Final Fantasy Explorers Won't Use Stereoscopic 3D
Remember when this technology was a big deal?
10.06.14 - 10:16 AM

Final Fantasy Explorers won't use the 3D stereoscopic output of the Nintendo 3DS, Square Enix recently confirmed. The demo at this year's Tokyo Game Show did not feature the hardware capabilities of Nintendo's handheld, surprising some fans in attendance.

It's not all bad for this Final Fantasy spinoff, though. Final Fantasy Explorers will make use of the circle pad pro and some of the new buttons on the New 3DS that's due later this year in Japan and Australia.

Final Fantasy Explorers is due out on December 18th in Japan.
