Final Fantasy Type-0 Director Wants to Make It a Series
Would the sequel be called Type-1?
11.06.14 - 10:04 AM

Hajime Tabata, the director for Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, would like to see more games under the "Type" series. From Siliconera:

"I would like to make more Type games and make them into a Final Fantasy series. We've registered trademarks for it, we've gone that far so we want to continue it," Tabata said. "I'd like to make the Type series the kind of series where we can do the kind of stuff that we really canít do in the mainline numbered series, so make it a really alternative kind of Final Fantasy."

This is certainly interesting news coming from Square Enix. My guess is everything will hinge on how Final Fantasy Type-0 HD does upon release.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is out on March 17th for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
