Haijime Tabata, the director of Final Fantasy XV, recently shared some insight into the development of the latest numbered entry of the Final Fantasy series at the Paris Game Festival. While most of the information was fairly standard industry talk (the developers were very excited with the response to the latest gameplay videos and the team is going to grow in size as production ramps up), Tabata mentioned that there is an estimated release window for the game.

From Siliconera via Gamekult:

"We have a general idea of what year and period [of the year] we're targeting for its release," said Tabata about Final Fantasy XV. "And we're at a stage where we're putting everything we toward [the release window]." "However, Tabata added, "I believe that it might take just a little bit longer than you'd hope for."

I would still put money on a late 2015 release date, but that's also considering I've been hearing about Noctis and friends since my freshman year in college. Final Fantasy XV is in development for Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
