One probably can't overstate the popularity of Game of Thrones. The HBO series based on the popular books has won numerous Emmy awards, Golden Globes, and more.

Telltale Games, masters of the graphic adventure, announced plans to build an episodic game series based on Game of Thrones quite awhile ago, and we're pleased to see how it's shaping up in this first official trailer:

Thankfully, while House Forrester will be the playable characters in Telltale's game, many of the actors from the TV show will be reprising their roles as well, with Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Natalie Dormer as Margaery Tyrell, and Iwan Rheon as Ramsay Snow. Later episodes will feature more familiar characters and actors as well.

As recently announced, Game of Thrones Episode One: Iron From Ice does not have an official release date yet, but will be available in 2014 on every platform there is! Okay, not really, but the six-part series is coming to PC/Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and iOS, with additional platforms to be announced at a later date.
