Tales of Zestiria Dragon Types Explained!
It's a frost dragon right? That turns into a Charizard? No?
11.25.14 - 10:47 PM

The latest issues of Jump magazine introduces us to a few of the different types of Dragons players will encounter in Tales of Zestiria. Similar to the Hyouma, the dragons cannot be seen by normal humans. In the scans shown we're introduced to two separate types; the Dragon Puppy ( ドラゴンパピー, doragon papii) and the Dragonewt ( ドラゴニュート, doragonyuuto). While the translations are a bit rough at this time, additional information is supposed to be released via the next issue of Famitsu. For now, have a look at this beasts!

Back

Pictured above is the Dragon Puppy, and you can immediately see why we mention that the translation is a bit rough, as this big guy is definitely not puppy sized.

Back

Following the Dragon Puppy is the Dragonewt, which is pictured above wielding sword and shield. They appear to be a little larger than humans, but additional sizes could still be available.

Tales of Zestiria is set to release in Japan on January 22nd of 2015 for the PlayStation 3. A North American and European release date has yet to be confirmed. We'll keep you updated on these dragons and any additional Tales of Zestiria information as it becomes available!
