Durarara Characters Obtainable in Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker
Seems like it's about time I got around to watching this show!
01.11.15 - 6:40 AM

The popular light novel/anime series Durarara and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor have something in common in that they share an artist, Suzuhito Yasuda, who designed the characters in Devil Survivor and also contributed art to the recent Japan-only Digimon games. So it's not as surprising, perhaps, that of all the anime characters to receive cameos in the upcoming Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker, it would be characters from Durarara. Not that I would object to the inclusion of Durarara... but that's beside the point!

Available in Japan for a limited time via Spotpass, Durarara's Izaya Orihara, Shizuo Heiwajima, and Headless Rider Celty will be downloadable party members. Another way that Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker will take advantage of the 3DS' Streetpass functionality will be by raising one of your demons' parameters whenever you pass another player and register their information with Streetpass enabled. Check out some new trailers showcasing these features below!

Seriously though, as long as we're doing crossovers with series that Suzuhito Yasuda contributed to, can we get some Digimon characters in an SMT game? I'd totally be down for that.
