Xenoblade Chronicles X so Big Developers Needed a Triple Digit Play-Clock
The better to compete for hours-played bragging rights.
02.03.15 - 6:27 AM

A twitter update by Xenoblade Chronicles X's director confirms that the game will track hours played past 99 into triple digits. This is actually an important feature, because a recent play-test by developers apparently clocked in at over 300 hours. Monolith Soft appears to be making good on its promise of a massive sci-fi adventure.

Xenoblade Chronicles X drops April 29th in Japan on Wii U, and Nintendo is turning up the hype machine by streaming a presentation about the game on February 6th, 10PM JST. A Western release is planned for later this year.
