Tackle A Unique Monster in New Battle Footage From Xenoblade Chronicles 3D
Those Affinity Coins aren't going to earn themselves.
03.27.15 - 2:02 AM

In Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, like the original, players are tasked with taking down sub-bosses called Unique Monsters. There are 157 Unique Monsters throughout the game, and other than bragging right, players will be able to snatch up the Affinity Coins that only these creatures drop. Players will also be granted Affinity Coins by leveling up, but trust me, one can never have too many of them. Affinity Coins are handy in setting up skill links between your party of characters.

To see how these fights will look on the New Nintendo 3DS, check out the video below.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will be released first in Europe on April 2nd, and then in North America on April 10th for the New Nintendo 3DS.
