Monster Hunter Stories Announced For 3DS
I wanna ride around on a mini Rathalos!
04.12.15 - 10:14 AM

During the Monster Hunter Festa '15 tournament finals today, Capcom announced a new game in the series titled Monster Hunter Stories for the Nintendo 3DS. Monster Hunter Stories will be a RPG spin-off of the popular series, and it has been 5 years in the making. Not much is known about the gameplay, but series producer Ryozo Tsujimoto explained that it'll be a game where players take on the role of "Riders" instead of Hunters.

"We want to imbue this game with a storyline and brand of fun that can only be done within the confines of an RPG, while still preserving the core sensibilities that people have come to associate with Monster Hunter," Tsujimoto said.

You can check out the debut trailer below.
