Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim Gets PC Release Date

The English PC release of Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim is coming sooner than anticipated. The game will launch for Steam, GOG, and the Humble Store on April 28th for $19.99 US. As a special treat, XSEED will be selling the game at a 15% discount during the first week of availability. As previously reported, this version of Ys VI will have several unique features not found in its PS2 or PSP counterparts, including a brand-new "Catastrophe" difficulty setting that limits the use of healing items.

The minimum and recommended specs for Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim can be found below.

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows XP
  • Processor: Pentium III 800 MHz
  • Memory: 1 GB RAM
  • Graphics: 32 MB VRAM, 3D accelerator compatible w/ DirectX 9.0c
  • DirectX: Version 8.0
  • Hard Drive: 1 GB available space
  • Sound Card: Compatible with DirectX 9.0c

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8
  • Processor: Pentium III 1 GHz or higher
