The Witch and the Hundred Knight Double Teasers and Interview That makes 200 hundreds knights. 05.13.15 - 6:49 PM
Nippon Ichi officials recently spoke to Japanese media and released two teaser trailers for their upcoming The Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival and The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2.
Nippon Ichi Software president Sohei Niikawa and The Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival and director Tomoya Asano spoke to Dengeki PlayStation about the upcoming games. Niikawa said the company had tested Revival on the PS Vita in addition to the PS4, but it was too much work to get the game to run smoothly on the Vita so they scrapped that version. Asano spoke to several new elements in the remake such as the ability to control Metallia and a new control scheme that incorporates the dual shock 4 and touch screen. In addition, the new version will support three different weapon slots instead of one.
Niikawa then turned to the story of the two games. He said the company wants to incorporate player feedback for Revival, and that The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2's will be a separate story because "Metallia's story is complete." He also said that the sequel will be released on PS4 as well.
The Witch and the Hundred Knight Revival comes out in Japan for the PlayStation 4 on September 2nd. There will also be a limited edition version of the game that will include special art material for The Witch and the Hundred Knight 2, which is in development for PlayStation 4 but does not have a release date. There is no Western release date for either game yet, but you can catch both games' teaser trailers below.
