Third Installment Coming for Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel
That sounds like a very unpleasant hiking trip.

Those of you who have been enjoying our Retro Encounter Podcast featuring The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky will be pleased to hear that Falcom officials have announced the development of a third installment for The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel a.k.a. Sen no Kiseki. Falcom president and CEO Toshihiro Kondo said in a recent interview with Dengeki PlayStation that the company is developing another sequel that will be set in the Erebonian Empire. He also said that the story is turning out to be longer than expected, so the company is figuring out how to cope with that length.

Trails of Cold Steel

The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel and its sequel are already out in Japan and there has been no official release date given. However, Xseed has registered a domain name for the series and a Spanish retailer has listed the game as available for release on both PlayStation 3 and Vita. Perhaps a more official announcement will come in next month's E3.
