Final Fantasy Explorers Is Journeying Out West At long last! 07.30.15 - 11:06 AM
Square Enix USA announced this morning that Final Fantasy Explorers for Nintendo 3DS will be coming out West early next year. This colourful-looking title focuses on co-op play for up to four players, and has over 20 jobs, some new, but many of the classic Final Fantasy variety, such as black mage, white mage, monk, and so on. Players can also summon the likes of Bahamut, and defeat monsters in order to call them into battle and level them up. You can also transform into several different Final Fantasy characters, such as Squall or Cloud.
The title takes place in a world at war over crystals, its source of energy. Explorers find themselves on a island rich with crystals in search of a newly-discovered Grand Crystal... which is also likely to be very highly sought after by others.
In addition to the announcement trailer you just saw, we've also added plenty of new screens to our gallery linked below, so have a look! Final Fantasy Explorers is due out in the Americas on January 26th, 2016.
