NIS Welcomes You to the Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain
Warning, this game may contain witches.

Nippon Ichi Software is rolling out a new first person perspective, dungeon RPG for the PS Vita. According to the teaser site, the game contains the text Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain, but other sources explain it as "Refrain's Underground Dungeon and the Witch's Brigade". The text does contain mentions of "witch" and even "wardrobe" (I'm dead serious).

No, that's not the Quake logo at the top ... OR IS IT?

The game is currently directed by Tatsuya Izumi (who worked on The Witch and The Hundred Knight and Disgaea), with character designs by Takehito Harada (Disgaea, Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom), and music from Tenpei Sato (pretty much every English released NIS game).

The only other info available, is that it contains a spear wielding character. Izumi Tatsuya commented that the game is a combination of directing and "know-how" jammed together; offering a "happy, suspicious world". If you know NIS's track record, expect shenanigans, colorful environments, and crazy characters.

Coven and Labyrinth of Refrain will release this winter in Japan for PlayStation Vita. Witches, a Pleinair appearance (haha, look it up), and an English release are yet to be determined.
