Final Fantasy V Flying Onto Steam
The legendary journey of Butz... er, Bartz, to slay a giant tree.
09.12.15 - 6:05 PM

Continuing the trend of high-profile JRPGs seeing re-releases on PC, Final Fantasy V is making its way to Steam. Based on the mobile version of the game, this port offers high-definition sprites and all of the additional content found in the Advance and mobile versions, including new Job classes and the superboss Enuo.

Final Fantasy V is an important game in the series for a number of reasons, not the least of which was the way it implemented the classic Job system. It was the first game in the series to allow skills to be retained from multiple Jobs, a series staple that would carry over into games like Final Fantasy Tactics. Final Fantasy V will be released for PC on September 24th, and you can see an announcement trailer below.
