Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages in Development in Japan
The original Harvest Moon is back.
01.12.16 - 10:54 PM

Marvelous Entertainment just announced the sequel to Story of Seasons, called Bokujou Monogatari in Japan, which will be called Story of Seasons: Good Friends of Three Villages. Recall that due to a trademark licensing issues, Natsume has been developing its own line of Harvest Moon games, so the Story of Seasons games hold the true lineage to the Harvest Moon of old. In any case, Good Friends of Three Villages will feature three villages with unique cultures, NPCs and potential mates, new game mechanics, and more.

New Story of Seasons Game

Development is currently 80% complete and on schedule for an early 2016 release in Japan on the 3DS. No word on a Western release date.
