Colin Burns
Theatrhythm Producer Wants to Expand the Series
Hmm... Parasite Eve Theatrhythm?
01.17.16 - 8:26 PM

The last game we received in Square's Theatrhythm series was Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call in 2014. Japan was also treated to an exclusive Theatrhythm Dragon Quest game in 2015 but now, series producer, Ichiro Hazama, has expressed desires to continue expanding.

"I still want to continue, and everyday I have been devising various plans," said Hazama to Nintendo Dream magazine. "I'm full with a feeling to do something to make it happen, so I'll be glad if you can wait with anticipation. With that being said, please keep supporting [the series] as usual from hereafter too!"

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Expanding Series

I can think of plenty of properties that would work well with the Theatrhythm format. Imagine a Theatrhythm Chrono Trigger / Cross. What if through some weird backdoor deals we got a Theatrhythm Super Mario RPG? I think our very own Stephen Meyerink would explode if they announced a Theatrhythm Kingdom Hearts.
