Get a Clue About Great Detective Pikachu With New Screenshots
I really hope this game comes to the west!

The Pokémon Company has updated the official website for Great Detective Pikachu with new details and screenshots. This old-school mystery adventure game is now available on the Japanese 3DS eShop.

The star of this game is Pikachu. This is not Ash's trusted companion. This little guy is brusque, a fan of hats and addicted to coffee. The only one who can understand him is his new buddy, Tim.

The two of them take to the town together in order to solve small mysteries and most of the gameplay of this title involves clicking on spots of interest and talking to witnesses. Tim chats with the humans while Pikachu gets info from the other Pokémon.

The sleuthing is interrupted at times by quick-time-events. I shudder to think what will happen if you fail to press "A" in time.

Great Detective Pikachu offers a unique take on the world of Pokémon and has been receiving praise for its sense of humor and charming characters. The game is Japan-only right now but hopefully, it will see worldwide release in the near future. Be sure to check out our brand new gallery for tons of other screenshots.
