Square Enix Details Great Rider Cup in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3
Ride on, for glory!
03.07.16 - 3:55 AM

We recently covered the various multiplayer functions in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3, but there was one element that yet remained unclear — the "Great Rider Cup." Square Enix has sent released some more information about what, exactly, the Great Rider Cup entails.

By taking advantage of the Ride feature in Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3, players will be able to compete against other monster masters by catching slimes out in the field and bringing them back to their goal. The game begins by selecting which monster to ride, ignoring size and level as they don't affect the outcome. Players can capture large amounts of slimes at once, earning more points, and whoever earns the most points is the winner. Players will harness their monster's unique abilities, as well as items that appear on the field, to emerge victorious. Rare items and experience points are the spoils of victory, and the Great Rider Cup can be held in single, local, or online play.
