Danganronpa's Monokuma has a New Japanese Voice Actor
Tarako Isono takes over for Nobuyo Oyama

Spike Chunsoft has announced that actor Tarako Isono, known simply as Tarako, will take over as the voice actor for Monokuma, the maniacal mascot of the Danganronpa series.

For the duration of the franchise up until now, Monokuma had been voiced by Nobuyo Oyama, but it was revealed in May of 2015 that she was suffering from dementia and would be putting all of her future work on hold. As a result, starting with Danganronpa the Stage in June, Tarako will act as the new voice of Monokuma. That means Tarako's Monokuma will also be hear in the July anime Danganronpa 3: The End of Hope’s Peak Academy as well as the next game in the series New Danganronpa V3: A New Semester for Everyone's Killing Game.
