Production I.G. is one of the more prolific anime studios, being responsible for the classic Ghost in the Shell series and films as well as Psycho-Pass, The End of Evangelion, Guilty Crown, and more. Needless to say, they are one of the best of the best.

And according to their official blog, Production I.G. is also behind the anime cutscenes for the much anticipated Persona 5. Ladies and gentleman, the hype train is at mach speed.

Persona 5 Cast

While no in depth details were given about their work, the fact that such a stalwart studio like Production I.G. is involved can only make the art assets that much better. This in regards to a game that is already turning heads with its sleek and stylish in-game graphics and UI.

Persona 5 will be released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 in Japan on September 15th. We are patiently awaiting a western release window, and thankfully E3 is right around the corner.
