Atlus has released a new plot synopsis and story trailer for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS RPG Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse, as well as a series of retailer exclusive pre-order bonuses that give the main character some snazzy new duds. Pre-ordering from Gamestop nets you the Power Suit, a "red and black suit that will strike fear into the hearts of demons, and should effectively hide wound sustained in battle. Pre-ordering from Amazon will get you the yellow Prime suit that lets demons know that "their lives will be ended swiftly and without any hassle." Last but not least, Best Buy is offering the blue-and-yellow Retail Hero jumpsuit that gives your demon hunter "a more professional look." You can see images of all of these, plus the new trailer, below.

The story of Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse is one of human pawns being shuffled across a chessboard by the higher deities. One lone Hunter, the game's protagonist, meets an early demise and through a pact with a lesser god, is brought back to life in exchange for his pledge of servitude. From there, the protagonist allies with other Hunters in the ruins of post-apocalyptic Tokyo beginning a plot that crosses over with the events of the original Shin Megami Tensei IV.
