Atlus Apologizes for Untranslated Scenes in Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse
It'll be a while before corrections are made.
09.21.16 - 11:58 PM

Atlus dropped the news that Shin Megami Tensei: Apocalypse has a few untranslated scenes towards the end of the game. During the game's localization, there are two untranslated scenes that Altus admits to being an oversight on their part. While they intend to correct the error at some point, they are not prioritizing it and it will likely be a while before the correction is made.

The untranslated text is seen if your partner gets knocked out during a boss battle near the end of the game. While your partner is knocked out, the boss may give you a dialogue option and this is where the error appears. Atlus' testers apparently never had a partner KO'd during this battle and therefore did not get to this section of the game.

The (mostly) localized version is out now for the 3DS.
