New Pokemon Sun and Moon Trailer, Details on Upcoming Updates
The Z-moves have the most awesome names.
09.23.16 - 10:29 PM

The latest Pokémon Sun & Moon trailer has loads of new info including four new Pokémon, new Z-moves, Aloha Fashions and Pokémon Refresh. This clip puts the spotlight on the four new version-exclusive Pokémon; Passimian and Lycanroc (Midday form) for Sun while Oranguru and Lycanroc (Midnight form) are exclusive to Moon. See the new trailer below.

In addition, two new Z-moves were revealed but not shown in the trailer. Snorlax's exclusive Z-Move is called 'Pulverizing Pancake' and is activated when a Snorlax knows Giga Impact and is holding Snorlium-Z. Alolan Raichu gets an exclusive Z-move as well, titled 'Stoked SparkSurfer'. Kudos to Game Freak for picking awesome, fitting names for these signature moves!

The Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter 3DS apps are confirmed to receive an update sometime in January 2017 to be compatible with Sun and Moon. Pokémon Bank is a software that allows you to store Pokémon in online storage boxes. This update will allow you to transfer your Pokémon from Pokémon X, Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire to Sun & Moon

Poké Transporter will also be updated to be compatible with the Virtual Console versions of Pokémon Red, Blue and Yellow. Transferring is all done one way to Sun and Moon, you won't be able to return them to their original games.

The Pokémon Bank will also gain a new Pokédex feature that collects data from all games that have connected with it, allowing you to retain Pokédex entries from your previous titles using their save data. This will be compatible with Sun and Moon as well as X Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Pokémon Bank and Poké Transporter require a fee of $4.99 per year including tax.

Pokémon Sun & Moon is out November 18 worldwide and November 23 in Europe. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more updates.
