Pokemon Sun and Moon Trailer Shows Starter Evolutions, Demo Coming in October
Mega Evolution confirmed!
10.04.16 - 12:43 PM

The Pokémon Company has released a brand-new trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon that is absolutely jam-packed with new information to dig into. We get to see the first evolutions of the main Starter Pokémon: Rowlett will evolve into Dartrix, Litten into Torracat, and Popplio into Brionne. There is also a new version of Pokémon Global Link incoming, which will be updated on the same day as Sun/Moon's North American release date, November 18th, bringing with it a host of new features and options for Trainers to play together with. Mega Evolutions are also confirmed to be making a comeback, and Mega Stones will be obtainable from certain NPCs or special shops located in-game.

Perhaps the most important news is that, beginning on October 18th, players will be able to download a special demo for Pokémon Sun and Moon. Doing so will net them a very special Pokémon: Ash-Greninja, a new form for Greninja from the Pokémon XYZ anime series that will be transferable to the full game. There's even more to unpack in this trailer, so without further ado, watch it below, and be sure to stay tuned to RPGFan for more Pokémon news!
